I am 39 and have used other brands of hoverboards very cautiously :)When removing from the box, we immediately charged the hoverboard. Took a few hours for the red light on the charger to turn green. The board is easy to turn on with just a single button push. To get on the hoverboard is the trickiest part because the board starts turning when you put one foot on. It doesn't wait for the second foot, so you have to jump on pretty quickly. It took me a little bit to find the best position for my feet, which was hanging over the front a little. The board runs smoothly, but it stops abruptly if it hits a small rock. This caused me to jump off a few times. When repositioning the board on the ground, it would start beeping and I had to turn the board off then back on. Overall, the board is smooth and is easy to operate if you have good balance.

I've barely used hoverboards before, only once a long time ago. This was pretty easy to learn how to use and I got decently well at it within a few minutes. It does take some balance and subtle body motions so you do need some degree of athletic ability. At first, learning to get on was the hard part as it kept skidding forward. When turned on, it activates some kind of gyroscope and it balances itself upright. Getting on one foot at a time slowly tends to trigger the turning motion. The easiest way is to just quickly hop on while keeping the first foot on level with the ground. Once on, just keep both feet level to the ground to stay in place. It's a little hard moving forward quickly, as the angle you bend your foot determines the speed, but a medium speed is relatively easy. Getting off, is pretty simple too, you just have to be quick about it. The board is somewhat heavy, but also made of a semi-durable plastic that will scratch and gouge, especially when the edges hit the ground. The wheels are a bit low, so it's not suitable for rougher terrains. I mostly used this on flat concrete and tiles, which work great. I'm planning on getting one of those go cart attachments for hoverboards.

It was charged when we received it (as you can see from the first picture) so we were able to try it out right away. Charges as you would expect from most of these types of electric toys. Goes at a good speed, I know 7mph doesn't sound fast but it feels like it when you are riding.

Fun side lights on the wheels when you have the board turned on then lights on the front when turning one way or another. Super fun at dusk with the lights but definitely be careful.

Overall a good product that we and the older grand kids enjoy riding.

This is the third hoverboard we've purchased and it is basically on par the the other two. It's a little less rugged but is responsive in all the ways you'd need it to be. My kids are having fun with it and I'm glad I got it.

I got this for my older grandkids for when they come over and it's a big hit! They love it. It came fully charged and my oldest grandson ride it for about 35 minutes until it needed to be charged again. It took at least a good 3 hours to be fully charged before he could ride it again which I thought was a long time but he said that's common. It went smoothly over the sidewalks in front of our house and looks really cool lit up in the early evening. Now that the word is out, all of the grandkids want to come over and try it. I wouldn't recommend this for smaller ones but I will allow the 12 and over to ride it. This would make a great gift!

So the first time I tried a hoverboard I fell square on my toosh. The next couple of times I tried ended in complete failure as well. I just assumed I was destined to not be able to follow around my kids on their hoverboards. But oh how wrong I was....I can now hang with the best of them and some!

Pros:
-Easiest to ride hoverboard ever hands down (have tried many as all my kids and their friends have them)
-Easy to mount
-Balances very well by itself
-Fun lights
-7mph is actually scary fast on this thing
-Battery life is exactly as stated
-Incredibly affordable literally quarter of the price of our other kids hoverboards
-Certified to not catch on fire like the ones of old

Cons:
-Battery life is as stated, but still short

All in all my very uncoordinated self was easily able to master this on the 2nd attempt of getting on it. I did get a little overconfident and tried my sons and reverted back to my very uncoordinated ways so this hoverboard really does make the difference for ease of use.

This is my first hoverboard and it is so much fun! Not gonna lie, a little scary at first even though it isn't that fast. If you aren't careful, you can definitely hurt yourself. Be sure to wear a helmet and maybe even some elbow/knee pads if you are going to try learning on hard ground. To practice, I have a friend follow me around so that when/if I feel unsteady, they can help out. I have been able to use this on carpet around the inside of my house. I don't feel confident enough in my ability yet to use on the street or driveway, but hopefully soon.

If you are interested in getting a hoverboard, this product is very nice quality. Charging is straightforward and it has a battery indicator. It is easier to stay upright than I thought it would be. The foot input seems precise and moves when I tell it to. Overall, I would recommend this product and I think it is a comparable price to other hoverboards. Hope this helps!
